mezzo-soprano / voice teacher

My experience with Stacie has been life changing. My lessons have brought me such joy. Her teaching style is encouraging, intuitive and inspiring. She has an amazing ability to give feedback and coach in a way that makes me feel anything is possible, while challenging me to achieve goals higher than I could have ever set for myself. The skills I have learned have translated into my everyday life as an Art Director. I feel more confident presenting in front of groups and have learned relaxation and breathing techniques that help me feel more centered and empowered during stressful times. How lucky I am to have found Stacie!

- Gail, adult student, art director

I first came to Stacie when I was 10, only a few weeks after coming off of the 2007-08 national tour of Annie. The tour itself strained my voice, and when I came to Stacie, she helped teach me the way I should be singing. This was a totally foreign feeling to my throat, not to be "pushing", but as the lessons progressed, I sounded better and better and there was no pain. Now, what I love about our weekly lessons is that she always is giving me corrections in the kindest way. I'm positive that when Stacie tells me I should "lift my soft palate" or "breathe lower", that whatever the alteration is will only improve my singing. Stacie is the best.

- Abby, high school

The minute I met Stacie, I knew she was the right teacher for me. She has helped me so much, and I feel like I have come such a long way in such a short time. Lessons have always been so fun, and I'm always really happy when I get to see Stacie. She is so talented, and somehow knows me so well. Working with someone who understands you makes all the difference. She has been the best teacher in the world, and there is nothing I could possibly do to thank her for what she's done for me!
